Carol Mathias Gorman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Macon, Georgia. She helps couples, individuals, and families navigate life events, stressors, and mental health barriers. A native of Perry, Georgia, Carol majored in speech and drama at Georgia Southwestern College in Americus. Eventually, she returned to college to pursue a new career once her five children were grown. Carol graduated Cum Laude from Wesleyan College, double majoring in Psychology and Sociology and attained a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer School of Medicine. She offers speaker services, coaching, and business programs for schools, churches, and family-centered businesses seeking personal and professional goals.
Carol provides a supportive environment to assist in living life well. Her genuine concern is evident for those navigating change, loss, and renewal, delivering a unique blend of experience and action to maximize outcomes for genuine healing and wholeness. An active supporter of the Middle Georgia Down Syndrome Society, she is also working on a book about compassion fatigue in caregivers and professionals in rescue industries.
