Growing up in Mobile, Alabama, Lee Clack developed a love for preparing and eating Gulf Coast seafood. Inspired to bring the Gulf Coast experience to Middle Georgia, Lee and his wife, Macon-native, Kelley Wrigley, took the leap into the restaurant scene in downtown Macon in 2015. Chef Michael Falduti joined Kudzu Seafood Company in 2019 lending his worldwide experience from Maxim’s in Paris, Emeril’s in New Orleans, and most recently the Ocean Front Country Club in Sea Island, Georgia.
Situated in a newly refurbished historic building featuring downtown Macon’s very first rooftop bar, Kudzu Seafood Company specializes in mouthwatering dishes as Red Snapper Royale, fried crab claws, firecracker shrimp and the house favorite “Jam Pups” (Jambalaya Hushpuppies) drizzled in handmade remoulade sauce. Offering a selection of non-seafood items and creative daily specials, Kudzu keeps the dining experience fresh and fun!
Whether you fancy spacious indoor seating, a room for a private party, a delicious cocktail on the roof overlooking downtown Macon, or a quiet evening on the patio with your pup, Kudzu will satisfy your appetite and meet your mood. Welcome to the Coast of Middle Georgia!
