Husband and wife team, Carl and Natasha Phillips, set out to realize their dream in November of 2007, when they opened a small juice and smoothie bar attached to a local fitness facility. By 2014, they had outgrown their inaugural space and moved FOJ, An Eatery to their current location on Forsyth Road. Macon natives, the couple’s desire to nurture and grow the business comes naturally to them. Carl, an artist with a flair for food, has populated the restaurant with his work, while Natasha – the daughter of fine-dining matriarch, Natalia del Basso-Orsini – has food running through her veins.
Their new space at The Prado allows them to display not only Carl’s art, but the food that has made them a popular local dining destination. FOJ, An Eatery uses only all-natural meats, including local ground beef from Rocking Chair Ranch, and all their food is fresh and made to order. Seasonal and signature items include their poppy seed chicken casserole, truffle mac n cheese, and their year-round popular pimiento cheese and chicken salad. In addition to catering services, the venue also offers a private dining room for on-site events and parties.
